Building Your Web Site

Where do you start?  We provide a free initial consultation to help you plan your approach.  We work with you to understand your market, customers and strategy to produce a solution that can be integrated into your company, its culture and its people.

Web design is a combination of art and science.  We design your site to look good and serve your business.  The design brief is worked out with you when we set the style, colours and functions that present your image to your web customers.  Our design team have a wide experience of image creation for the web and publishing.

The functions on the site are created in consultation with you from specification to implementation.  When these change we will return and rework your business process to meet your new requirements.

Supporting Your Web Site

We do not forget about your site when we have completed our assignment to you.  We will constantly review what is new on the web and advise you of new trends and technology that will help you develop your site and maintain its vitality.

We will help your business cope with the introduction of new technology.  We can guide you in choosing an implementation plan that is phased with your requirements, staff resources and budgets.

To help promote your site we can submit your site to search engines and include your web details into your marketing activities and company publicity.

What Will Your Web Cost?

We offer a free initial consultation to gauge your requirements.  Following this we will provide a proposal describing the work and detailed quotation of the cost of the site development.  We will work with you to plan the work and agree who does what and when it will happen.

If you want a simple site of a few pages we would then develop and install the site on the web.  We will procure a web name and service provider, if you do not have one at present.  The cost of a simple four-page site is £250.  See www.biketrainer.co.uk and www.gtholidays.co.uk for examples.  Usually a small site will be up and running a few days after our your acceptance of our proposal.

A site for a larger business is made up of many pages and probably has functionality to handle forms and access a database or shopping cart system.  This type of site takes careful planning and several meetings would be held to agree the design and for you to try the site before it is made operational on the web.  See www.gravattdesign.co.uk for an example.  Shopping sites are priced from £500.

We undertake our assignments on a fixed price or time and material basis, depending on your wishes.
