Who We Are & What We Do

PLUM Computer Services was founded in 1983 by Alan & Brenda Plumley.  They had worked in the computer business for many years for companies such as BAC, Vauxhall Motors, SKF, and Anglo American in this country and overseas.  The PC revolution had started and the business specialised in consultancy and computer services especially for small and mid range computers. 

With the increasing popularity of systems on the Web more work is requested in this area.  Recently assignments have been completed for local companies such as Xn Corporation, and Universal Salvage. The company also helps many individuals and small businesses become web connected and introduce web based systems.  

Plum is a friendly company and has an “easy to do business with” approach to its customers.  The owners are personally involved with the business and have many contacts and associates with whom they network on large or complex projects.  Plum works efficiently and economically to produce affordable web sites for its clients.
